Flydubai is a low-cost airline in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, offering just two fare classes: Business and Economy. Carry-on Baggage Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- All passengers are allowed to bring one main handbag, such as a laptop bag, ladies handbag, or gentlemen's satchel. The bag must be no larger than 25 X 33 X 20 cm and can be easily stored under the seat.
- Economy Class passengers can bring a maximum of 1 item, and Business class passengers can bring a maximum of 2 items of Flydubai's handbag allowance on board. Each bag can weigh up to 7 kg, have linear dimensions of 55 X 38 X 20 cm, and be easily stored in overhead lockers.
- If you are travelling with an infant and the flight fare includes baggage, you can carry 5 kg of hand baggage, which should be smaller than 55 X 38 X 20 cm.
- At the boarding gate, if the hand baggage is found to be more than the prescribed weight or the number of articles is more than the assigned to one, then a fee of AED 200 or 55 USD will be applied per piece of article.

Animals Carrying Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- Generally, the airline doesn't allow animals to fly in the cabin.
- Falcons may be applied onboard in certain cases, but even this requires prior approval from the airline.
- However, you can always transfer your pets or any other animals with the help of Flydubai cargo.
Checked-in Baggage Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- Economy class passengers can have up to 3 pieces of pre-paid bags, with the maximum combined weight of all the bags can't exceed 20, 30, or 40 kg, with the total linear dimensions of each bag should be adhered to 159 cm.
- Business class passengers can have up to 3 pieces of bags, and the maximum combined weight of all the bags can't exceed 40 kg, where the total linear dimensions should adhered to 159 cm.
- The weight of any single piece of bag can't exceed 32 kg.
- While travelling with an infant, and the flight fare includes baggage, then you can carry 10 kg of checked-in baggage.
- There should be at least one flat surface in the checked-in baggage, and it should also not contain any loose straps.
Extra Baggage Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- If your luggage exceeds the above standard dimensions in the checked-in baggage allowance, you can buy an extra baggage allowance.
- Flydubi has split its destinations into 8 zones, and the cost of extra baggage is charged per kg based on your to and from destinations.
- Per kg, extra weight charges vary between 40 and 80 AED when travelling from Dubai to other regions of the world, whereas charges in local or alternative currencies will be applied when travelling from other airports.

Sports Baggage Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- The acceptance of sports equipment is solely based on the availability of the space, so you have to make a 24-hour prior booking for your equipment with the airline.
- Your sporting equipment will be free for boarding if it stays within the standard dimensions of carry-on or checked-in baggage.
- If your equipment's total linear dimensions are between 160 and 189 cm, 150 AED charges will be applied per item per flight, whereas if the size is between 190 and 350 cm, 270 AED charges will be applied per item per flight.
- Sporting equipment like Pole vaults, javelins, hang gliders, sporting weapons, or any sporting equipment whose total linear dimension is more than 350 cm is subject to pre-authorisation by the airline for at least 48 to 96 hours and will be charged 270 to 300 AED per item per flight.
Musical Instrument Allowance Policy of Flydubai
- If you want to carry a musical instrument that exceeds the prescribed carry-on baggage limit onboard, you must purchase an extra seat in the same cabin.
- You may be allowed to carry large musical instruments of yours as checked-in baggage if the flight has enough space in the cargo. However, excessive charges will be applied if applicable.
